Open Fire Food Festival (OFFF) by Steve Harvey is coming back to Abu Dhabi for its second edition, setting Etihad Park ablaze with bold flavours, smoky grills, and live-fire cooking. The two-day event takes place on November 8 and 9, 2025, bringing together celebrity chefs, pitmasters, music, and family-friendly activities.
What Is the Open Fire Food Festival by Steve Harvey?
Founded around Steve Harvey’s love for authentic barbecue and live-fire cooking, the Open Fire Food Festival was created to bring authentic American-style BBQ culture to the region. The American entertainer, comedian, and long-time TV host is also a self-professed barbecue enthusiast. After the successful event last year, he decided to throw another large-scale BBQ party on Yas Island.

At the heart of the festival are the Open Fire Backyards, where food meets theatre. Visitors will find live-fire cooking sessions, BBQ competitions, and panels with global grill masters. From the smoke and sizzle to the stories behind the dishes, it’s an immersive experience aimed at food lovers of all levels.
The festival also features live music, interactive workshops, and plenty of family entertainment. Children under 12 enter free, making this an easy pick for a full day (or two) of fun with the whole family.
