Heading to Yas Island? Parking at three popular destinations has switched to a fully digital system.
From July 6, parking at Yas Marina, Yas Bay Waterfront, and West Yas Plaza no longer uses paper tickets or barriers. The new system uses cameras to scan the vehicle’s licence plate when you enter and leave. Parking time is calculated automatically.
If you have a Salik account, parking fees are deducted automatically from your wallet. Drivers without a Salik account can still pay by SMS or through the official PARKONIC mobile app.
Here’s what you’ll pay at each location:
- Yas Bay Waterfront: AED 20 for the first hour, then AED 10 for each additional hour
- Yas Marina: AED 20 for the first hour, then AED 10 for each additional hour
- West Yas Plaza: First hour free, then AED 10 for every additional hour
Visitors dining at participating restaurants at Yas Bay Waterfront and Yas Marina can receive up to three hours of free parking. Gym users at both locations can claim up to six hours of free parking with validation.
