You’ve probably been saying you’ll go to Hatta “soon”… but the window is closing. The outdoor season in Hatta is coming to an end, along with many of its activities. If you’ve had a trip in mind for the weekend, there isn’t much time left. May 3 is the final day, and after that, many of the activities in Hatta pause for the summer.

What’s Closing in Hatta after May 3

Hatta Wadi Hub won’t stay open once the heat kicks in. Here’s what you’ll miss if you don’t go this weekend:

  • Archery and axe throwing
  • Zorbing and slip ‘n’ slide
  • Mountain biking trails
  • Ziplines
  • Pony rides
  • Net walks

What You Can Still Do at Hatta after May 3

About 15 minutes from Wadi Hub, Hatta Dam stays open and is one of the easiest ways to enjoy the area in warmer months. Here’s what you can rent:

  • Kayaks: AED 60/person or AED 120/for two
  • Water bikes: AED 60/person or AED 120/for double
  • Yellow boats: AED 150
  • Donut boats: AED 300

What Else Closes in Dubai for Summer

Hatta isn’t the only place wrapping up for the hotter months. Seasonal outdoor spots in Dubai follow a similar pattern, closing as temperatures rise. Global Village plans to close the doors for the summer break on May 10, so now is the best moment to enjoy the park and its special offer on Carnaval rides.

Another popular spot, Dubai Miracle Garden, will also close at the end of May. Right now, families can enjoy free entry on weekdays, while UAE residents can visit at a reduced price.
