Car pooling is already a well-known solution for beating traffic and saving costs in the UAE. Now, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has introduced a new bus pooling service — bringing structure and regulation to a widely used private commuting model.
The RTA Bus Pooling service is designed for those with fixed, daily commutes. Whether you’re heading to work, university or another regular destination, this service offers a door-to-door transport solution at affordable rates. Plus, it’s operated by licensed, RTA-regulated providers, giving commuters peace of mind on both safety and reliability.

The launch of bus pooling isn’t the only upgrade in Dubai’s transport ecosystem. RTA has also begun testing a new electric bus on route F13, connecting Al Quoz Bus Depot to Dubai Mall Metro Bus Stop. This pilot operation is part of a broader push toward eco-friendly public transport solutions.
From flexible ride-sharing options to cleaner, greener buses, RTA is steadily transforming how people move across the city — one smart service at a time.
