Saudi Arabia has introduced a new work visa classification system for foreign workers, changing how job roles are evaluated and assigned across the country. Starting August 3, 2025, all new work visa applicants will be placed into one of three skill levels — high-skilled, skilled, or basic. Until now, work permits were mostly issued based on job titles, without clear links to a person’s actual qualifications or experience. From August 2 to 30, Mall Walk Club will transform the shopping centre into a walking space every morning from 7 AM to 9 AM. Instead of a human behind the wheel, you might spot a driverless electric vehicle towing luggage to the plane. Travel services provider dnata has just rolled out a fleet of autonomous baggage tractors at the airport as part of a major upgrade to its ground handling services.
