American singer-songwriter Bebe Rexha has quickly established herself as one of the most recognisable voices in electronic dance music. Despite a short career, Rexha has risen to the top of the charts across the world and picked up awards and widespread praise along the way.
Hailing from New York, Rexha spent her school days learning the guitar and piano as well as participating in the choir. She continued to pursue a career in music and became the Best Teen Songwriter at the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences, signing a recording contract shortly after.
The singer began her music career recording alongside Fall Out Boy’s bassist Pete Wentz, before writing hits for Selena Gomez, Nikki Williams, Eminem & Rihanna on their hit song ‘The Monster’. Rexha’s debut single, released in 2014, titled ‘I Can’t Stop Drinking About You’ went up to the number 22 spot in the USA.
Rexha’s major breakthrough hit came in 2015 when she sang the vocals for French DJ and producer David Guetta’s track ‘Hey Mama’. The track became an instant hit, peaking at number 8 and was nominated for numerous awards, ultimately winning the Best Rap/Hip-Hop/Trap Dance Track at the International Dance Music Awards.
Rexha continued to collaborate with several top artists including G-Eazy, Iggy Azalea, Nick Jonas and Martin Garrix, the latter of which proved to be highly successful as their track ‘In the Name of Love’ went up to the fourth spot on the US Dance chart and was well received in a number of European countries as well.
Rexha has since announced her debut headlining tour, the ‘All Your Fault Tour’, which began in March 2017 and has seen her perform at numerous US cities and venues as well as dates being added for Europe and further afield.
