Ahmad Ali Butt

Ahmad Ali Butt, is not just a popular Pakistani actor but a well-known musician as well, with his electronic keyboard skills and rapping. Having been part of a few rock bands, Butt put two of them together to form ‘Entity Paradigm’, in the 90s. Not only had he merged the 2 bands, but he collaborated with popular singer Fawad Khan and Zulfiqar Khan, a renown guitarist to pen down the band’s first song, titled “Feel Us”. This quickly became a success and he made a name for his Rock style.

Not to take away from his acting credentials Butt began acting for theatre and also tried his hand at directing which proved to be successful, albeit short-lived. Thereafter he was pulled into TV and acted & directed the famous “Rubber Band” TV show.

While Butt has a love for acting and hosting awards shows such as the Lux Style Awards in 2012 and 2013 consecutively as well as the 3rd Hum Awards in 2015, his real passion comes from his music. Given his lineage, this would come as no surprise since his maternal grandmother is none other than the singing legend and actress Noor Jehan.
