Najwa Karam is a famous Lebanese singer, songwriter, producer and fashion icon.
The girl was born and raised together with her 4 siblings in a Catholic Lebanese family.
Karam got a bachelor's degree in philosophy.
After she started her career as a teacher but she dreamt about being a singer. Her dreams come true when the girl participated in a television singing competition Lebanese Nights and got the first place. After taking part in several competitions, Karam released her first studio album,Ya Habayeb. It included songs performed in folkloric style. However, her second Shams el-Ghinnieh and third Ana Ma'akon albums were classic in style.
In 1998 the singer changed her genre to the blend of traditional and contemporary Arabic. Her song "Maghroumeh" performed in a new style hit number one on most radio stations.
Today the star has a million of fans and can boast to be on the list of "The Top 100 Arab Celebrities", "The 15 Most Inspiring Women In The Middle East" and having such awards as Artist of the Year, Album of the Year.
Speaking about her personal life, the singer was married from 2000 to 2003. Najwa Karam`s husband was Yousef Harb. In 2021 Najwa Karam`s boyfriend was an Emirati businessman. The couple were going to get married but broke up.
