ARTBAT is a Ukrainian DJ and production duo from Kyiv, consisting of Artur Kryvenko and Vitaliy Limarenko, better known by his nickname Batish. The names behind the project reflect its dual nature — two experienced producers who each spent years building solo careers in the clubs of Ukraine before their paths crossed. The two met in a Kyiv club in 2014, instantly recognized a shared musical vision, and formed ARTBAT shortly after. Their first studio session alone was enough to confirm the chemistry, and the debut EP Mandrake, released on Definition Music, climbed Beatport's overall top 100 and stayed there for a full month.
