Biography & Career:
Indira Paganotto is a Spanish techno DJ and record producer, born and raised on the Canary Islands before relocating to Madrid to pursue her career. Her nationality is Spanish, and her ethnicity reflects a rich mix of cultures — raised by a Spanish father who worked as a DJ in Goa, India during the 1980s, and an Italian mother. That cross-cultural upbringing, with a record collection spanning disco, jazz, acid house and Goa trance, shaped everything that dj Indira Paganotto would later become. The connection to Indian culture, through the father's years spent in Goa, is something that runs through the musical identity and is reflected even in the name itself.

Discovering DJing at 15, practising on the parents' equipment at home, and by 16 already performing at the Moon Club in Las Palmas. The first vinyl release came at 17 through German producer Ian Pooley, and after moving to Madrid, a residency at the legendary club Stardust launched the international profile. The Indira Paganotto genre is a signature fusion of psytrance and techno, often laced with acid and underground elements, earning the nickname Psymama within the electronic music community. That sound, energetic and elegant in equal measure, has made Indira Paganotto a headline act at Tomorrowland, Awakenings, Amnesia Ibiza, EXIT Festival, EDC Las Vegas and Fabric London, among many others.

In 2022 the ARTCORE label was founded, giving full creative control over releases and events. Collaborations with Charlotte de Witte, Nina Kraviz and Joseph Capriati have further cemented the reputation. The parents instilled both artistic rigour and the courage to take risks — a foundation visible in every set.

On a personal level, Indira Paganotto is married to David Morago, a celebrated hyperrealist painter. The husband and wife share a home in the mountains of Madrid, where both maintain their creative studios. The tour circuit continues to expand across Europe, the Americas and the Middle East, and demand for upcoming events grows with each new release.
