American singer-songwriter Adam Lambert is quickly becoming one of the most respected names in world pop music. To date, Lambert has sold over 5 million singles worldwide, topped the charts numerous times and has made a name for himself as a sell-out crowd performer.
Having found a passion for music, Lambert entered the eighth season of American Idol. Following a string of strong performances, Lambertwas voted runner-up in the competition. He very quickly recorded his debut album, releasing ‘For Your Entertainment’ in 2009. The album rose to Number 3 in the US and the lead single, ‘Whataya Want from Me’ entered Top Tens around the world and earnt him a Grammy nomination for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.
Lambert continued his success with his second album, ‘Trespassing’, which came out in 2012. The album topped the charts in the USA and Canada. 2012 also saw Lambert join up with superstar rock band Queen for their first world tour as a group. He has since gone on to join up with the band three more times for sell-out world tours.
Lambert most recently released ‘The Original High’, his third album which peaked at Number 3 in the US and included the single ‘Ghost Town’, which was a Gold and Platinum hit throughout Europe.
