Renowned Indian singer Shreya Ghoshal is a two time winner of the National Film Awards and has received six Filmfare Awards to date.
A budding singer and musician from the age of 4, she started training in classical music at 6 and was a TV star at 16 thanks to her part in TV singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, before soon after making her Bollywood debut in romantic drama Devdas. Shreya is also a well known TV star thanks to her appearance as a judge on several reality TV shows, and was named one of India's Top 100 celebrities by Forbes magazine.
A firm fan favourite thanks to several big gigs in the UAE that have sold thousands of tickets, she’s featured in the Forbes Top 100 celebrities list several times, and worked alongside Indian legend A.R.Rahman on several films. Colloquially known as the Melody Queen and Queen Bee by the Indian press, Shreya Ghoshal is also a big star in Ohio America where June 26 every year has been named as Shreya Ghoshal Day – a fitting tribute for one of India’s best recognized and most talented artists.
