Biography & Career
Tamer Hosny is an Egyptian singer, actor, composer, songwriter and a director.
He was brought up mostly by his mother as his father was always absent. By the way, he is also an artist. Tamer Hosny`s parents had two children Tamer and Hossam.
After completing his education Tamer worked at a petrol station, a supermarket and as a construction worker.
Tamer as a singer appeared in public on mixed tapes with other Egyptian artists. His first solo album Hob was released in 2004, after that he was successfully building his career. Tamer Hosny`s style has been a romantic music singer.
In 2010 the singer made his own music video, a comedy-drama film The Light of My Eyes. The film highlighted his talent as a film director. Then there were Ahwak, Tesbah ala Kher, El-Badlah and other movies which became tremendously popular all over the world.
The singer is also famous for his successful collaborations with Snoop Dogg and plenty of Arab Artists such as Akon, Diana Karazon, Marwan Khoury, Latifa, Souad Massi.
