Nando’s just made a bold new move on the Dubai dining scene. The South African flame-grilled chicken brand has opened its largest UAE restaurant — and it’s located right on the buzzing strip of Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR).

This new two-storey flagship marks a major milestone for the peri-peri powerhouse. With a spacious layout offering both indoor and outdoor seating, the JBR branch is designed to keep up with the energy of Dubai’s beachside crowd, from day to night.

Inside, the space mirrors Nando’s signature Afro-Portuguese style. Earthy colours, textured materials, and bold artwork create a warm, relaxed atmosphere. Whether you’re grabbing a bite solo or dining with a group, the setup works for every mood — from casual lunches to lively evenings after a stroll on the sand.

The walls here also do more than look good. The JBR branch doubles as a gallery, featuring one of the world’s largest collections of contemporary Southern African art, giving guests an unexpected cultural encounter with their meal.

Of course, the food is what brings people through the door. The menu sticks to what Nando’s does best: flame-grilled chicken marinated in peri-peri sauce, ranging from mild to extra hot. Add in signature sides like spicy rice, peri-peri fries, and corn on the cob, and you’ve got a well-rounded meal packed with bold flavour.

This newest location joins a wave of recent openings in Al Wahda Mall, Khalifa City, and Dubai Investment Park, showing Nando’s ongoing commitment to growing across the UAE.
