Residents in Al Khan now have a new place for evening walks, football games, and letting the kids burn energy close to home.
Sharjah Municipality has officially opened a huge family park in this community of Sharjah. Al Khan Park was completed in less than a month, which is pretty impressive considering how much landscaping and how many facilities were added in that time.
The park covers 5,000 sqm and includes a football field, a children’s play area, seating zones, and internal walkways.
Around 60% of the park are covered with green grass and landscaped areas, so there’s plenty of open space to enjoy outdoors.
