European basketball is about to make history in Dubai. The EuroLeague 2025/26 season begins on September 30, and the Coca-Cola Arena will be at the center of the action. For the very first time, Dubai Basketball steps into Europe’s premier competition, hosting some of the sport’s biggest names — including Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Bayern Munich.

For head coach Jurica Golemac, this season is both a proud milestone and a major challenge. His team, still only in its second full year together, now faces the most famous and successful clubs in the EuroLeague. Last season brought around 40 games, but this year the number could reach nearly double if the team advances to the playoffs and beyond.
