Dubai just got a step closer to flying taxis becoming part of daily life. The city’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has confirmed the first successful air taxi test flight, carried out in partnership with Joby Aviation, a company based in the US that makes electric aircraft. Dubai is adding another towering landmark to its skyline. Property developer Deyaar has unveiled plans for DWTN Residences, a 445-meter-tall residential skyscraper set to rise in the heart of Business Bay. Once complete, it will stand among the city’s tallest structures, with more than 110 floors.
