Dubai loves a big project, and the coastline clearly isn’t done growing yet. Nakheel has awarded contracts for a new project called Island B. The island will be built along the Deira coastline and is part of the Dubai Islands development. So what’s planned for Island B? Dubai is adding another towering landmark to its skyline. Property developer Deyaar has unveiled plans for DWTN Residences, a 445-meter-tall residential skyscraper set to rise in the heart of Business Bay. Once complete, it will stand among the city’s tallest structures, with more than 110 floors. Positioned next to the Business Bay metro station, the project is described by Deyaar as a "vertical residential community." If you're driving in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, or Al Dhafra, there’s a good reason to check your traffic fines sooner rather than later. A new initiative from the Abu Dhabi Police — launched at Adnoc petrol stations — is reminding drivers to take advantage of a discount system.
