Hardwell

Dutch DJ and producer Hardwell is one of the world’s true superstar DJs. Having broken onto the scene in 2005, Hardwell has become one of the leading lights in electronic dance music, topping the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll in 2013 and 2014, charting numerous times around the world and headlining shows at some of the biggest festivals and clubs in the industry.

Inspired by the rising dance music scene in the Netherlands, Hardwell began performing and producing at a young age, releasing several tracks in the process. It wasn’t until 2011 and the rise of mainstream EDM that he collaborated with countryman Tiësto on ‘Zero 76’ that put him in front of a wider audience.

Hardwell continued to release tracks, seeing his 2012 single ‘Spaceman’ become a worldwide hit on the dance music scene. The track propelled Hardwell’s career forward and saw him win the IDMA Awards for Best Break-Through DJ and Best Global DJ. Further productions with Showtek on ‘How We Do’ and Amba Shepherd on ‘Apollo’ set Hardwell up for his first Top 100 DJs win, topping the vote in 2013.

2014 was another successful year for the DJ, seeing him headline shows at Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas and Tomorrowland in Belgium as well as the ‘I Am Hardwell’ world tour.

The superstar DJ released his debut album, ‘United We Are’ in 2015 and topped the Dutch Album Charts in the process as well as charting around the world. The album also included singles such as ‘Young Again’ with Chris Jones and ‘Follow Me’ with Jason Derulo.
