Biography & Career:
SG Lewis is an English producer, singer-songwriter and DJ who turned bedroom remixes into one of the most recognisable sounds in modern dance music. Born Samuel George Lewis, the artist picked up guitar, keys and drums as a teenager and played in several bands before drifting towards production. A DJ residency at Liverpool's Chibuku club became the real training ground, and a record deal with PMR followed in 2014, placing the young producer on the same roster as Jessie Ware and Disclosure. Despite an age that still puts him among the younger names on major festival bills, more than a decade of releases sits behind him already.

British by nationality, the producer works in a music genre rooted in house, disco, nu-disco, electronic soul and dance-pop. Warm analogue synths, funk basslines and a rotating cast of guest vocalists are the signature, which is why the songs land equally well at 2am in a warehouse and on daytime radio. The discography runs from early EPs and a three-part concept project dedicated to club culture through to three studio albums, alongside a collaborative EP with Tove Lo and production credits for Dua Lipa, Robyn, Nelly Furtado, Clairo, Victoria Monét and Lucky Daye. In 2024 the producer also launched a label of his own, Forever Days Recordings, built around music made strictly for the dance floor.

Live shows are where all of it comes together. A concert is rarely a straightforward DJ set - live instrumentation, real vocals and reworked studio material have earned SG Lewis slots at Coachella, Glastonbury and All Points East, plus headline nights at Printworks and The O2. The current tour, supporting the 2025 album, has already moved through Europe and North America, while upcoming events run deep into festival season with dates in London, New York, Los Angeles, Montreal and San Francisco.

Away from the studio things stay quiet. Interviews tend to focus on music, collaborators and club culture rather than personal matters, and there is no public information about a wife or long-term partner. What is clear is the trajectory: over a billion streams, a steady run of high-profile collaborations, and a live show that keeps growing.
