If you’ve been feeling like everything is happening at once… you’re not wrong.
The next few weeks in Egypt are full. Cairo is busy, Alexandria has its moments, and El Gouna is already gearing up. Different cities, different moods, but all of them worth showing up for in their own way.
Here’s what’s coming up, and what people are actually talking about.
Upcoming Concerts in Egypt 2026

Medhat Saleh at Ewart Memorial Hall – April 24
Then you’ve got something completely different.
A Medhat Saleh night in Cairo isn’t about hype, it’s more about the feeling. Songs like Kokab Tani, Wehyat Hobak, and Ana Mesh Bahebak still hit the same, especially in a setting like this. Classic songs, a quieter crowd, and a venue that makes everything sound just right. It’s already sold out, which isn’t surprising. Nights like this don’t really need promotion.

Zamna Festival at the Great Pyramids of Giza – April 24 & 25
This one speaks for itself.
Two nights, international DJs, and the Pyramids right there behind you. Expect sets from names like Maceo Plex (Solar Detroit, When The Lights Are Out), Loco Dice, CAMELPHAT (Cola, Panic Room), and The Blaze (Territory, Virile). It’s not subtle, but that’s kind of the point. If you’re into electronic music or just want a night that feels bigger than usual, this is one of those festivals in Egypt that people plan around.

Amr Diab Live in Cairo – May 1
You don’t really “plan” Amr Diab.
If you’re in Cairo that weekend, you just end up there. Between classics like Tamally Ma’ak, Nour El Ein, and newer hits like Ya Ana Ya Laa, it’s part concert, part shared memory. Everyone knows the songs, everyone sings, and somehow it still hits the same every time. There’s a reason he’s still the biggest name when it comes to concerts in Egypt.

Sandbox Festival, El Gouna – May 7 to 9
And then there’s El Gouna.
Sandbox isn’t just a festival, it’s a full weekend. Beach, music, late nights, repeat. Expect artists like Âme (Rej, Tatischeff), Dixon, Bedouin (Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun remix), DJ Tennis, and The Blaze shaping the sound across multiple stages. If you’ve been thinking about taking a break and doing something different, this is usually where people end up.

Angham Live at Layali Misr, New Cairo – May 15
And if you’re staying in Cairo a little longer, Angham is one of the standout names on the lineup during this period.
Her voice carries differently, softer, emotional, and very precise. Songs like Sidi Wesalak, Omry Maa’ak, and Kol Ma N’arrab hit even more live, especially with a crowd that’s fully tuned in. The Layali Misr setting at El Arena keeps it elegant but still accessible, making it one of the more anticipated Arabic concerts in Egypt this season.
