For Liverpool fans, Sunday felt like the end of an era.

Mohamed Salah officially said goodbye to Liverpool FC after nine remarkable seasons at Anfield, closing one of the most successful chapters in the club’s modern history.

The Egyptian forward leaves Liverpool as one of the club’s greatest-ever players. During his time in red, Salah collected nine trophies, including two Premier League titles, the UEFA Champions League trophy and an FA Cup.

His final match came against Brentford FC on Sunday, May 24. The game ended in a 1-1 draw, but Salah still made his mark one last time by assisting Curtis Jones’ goal. He was also named Man of the Match in his farewell appearance.

Liverpool marked the occasion with a farewell documentary celebrating Salah’s years at the club. The film includes appearances from former teammates, current players and even rivals reflecting on his impact during nearly a decade at Anfield.

For many supporters, Mohamed Salah will always be part of Liverpool’s identity. Nine seasons, countless unforgettable moments and one farewell Anfield will not forget anytime soon.
