These Gift Card Terms and Conditions (“Gift Card Terms”) apply to the purchase, receipt and use of Gift Cards made available through the Platinumlist platform (“Platinumlist”).
By purchasing, receiving, claiming or using a Gift Card, you agree to these Gift Card Terms together with the applicable Platinumlist Terms and Conditions and Wallet Terms and Conditions.
1. Purchase of Gift Cards
1.1. Gift Cards may only be purchased through a registered Platinumlist account.
1.2. Gift Cards are available in the denominations and currencies displayed on the Platinumlist platform at the time of purchase. Gift Card values may range from AED 100 to AED 1,000, or the equivalent permitted value in another supported currency, unless otherwise stated by Platinumlist.
1.3. Where the option is available, the purchaser may select a custom Gift Card value within the minimum and maximum limits displayed at checkout.
1.4. The purchaser is responsible for ensuring that the recipient’s details, including their email address, are entered correctly.
1.5. Once a Gift Card has been successfully purchased and issued, the purchase cannot be cancelled or exchanged for cash except where required by applicable law.
2. Receiving and Claiming a Gift Card
2.1. The recipient will receive an email informing them that a Gift Card has been purchased for them.
2.2. The recipient must have a Platinumlist account to claim and use the Gift Card. If the recipient does not already have an account, they will be required to create one.
2.3. The Gift Card value will be credited to the recipient's Platinumlist Wallet on the scheduled delivery date selected by the purchaser. Where the recipient does not have a Platinumlist account, the Gift Card value will become available upon account creation. Platinumlist may internally identify and track Gift Card value separately for the purposes of validity, expiry, refunds and other applicable Gift Card conditions.
2.4. A Gift Card may only be claimed by the intended recipient and credited to the relevant Platinumlist account.
3. Permitted Use
3.1. Gift Card value may be used only for the purchase of eligible event and attraction tickets available through Platinumlist.
3.2. Gift Card value cannot be used to purchase memberships, add-ons or any other product or service identified by Platinumlist as ineligible for Gift Card payment.
3.3. Gift Card value:
cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for cash;
cannot be transferred to another user or Platinumlist account;
cannot be transferred to a bank account, payment card or other payment method; and
cannot be topped up or otherwise converted into another form of monetary value.
3.4. Gift Cards may not be resold or used for any unauthorized commercial purpose.
4. Currency
4.1. The Gift Card will be issued in the currency selected and confirmed by the purchaser at the time of purchase.
4.2. The Gift Card value will be credited to the recipient's Platinumlist Wallet in the currency of their existing Wallet. Where the Gift Card was purchased in a different currency, the value will be converted into the recipient's Wallet currency using the applicable exchange rate at the time of crediting.
4.3. Where Gift Card value is used to purchase eligible tickets in a different currency, the applicable currency conversion will be calculated using the exchange rate applied by Platinumlist at the time of the transaction.
4.4. The applicable currency, Gift Card value and any currency conversion applied will be clearly displayed to the customer during the relevant transaction.
5. Refunds
5.1. Where an eligible purchase was paid wholly or partly using Gift Card value and qualifies for a refund, the portion originally paid using Gift Card value will be returned to the recipient’s Platinumlist Wallet and will remain subject to the applicable Gift Card conditions.
5.2. Any amount originally paid using Gift Card value will not be refunded as cash or transferred to a bank account, payment card or other external payment method.
5.3. Where more than one payment method was used, each refundable portion will be returned according to the payment method originally used for that portion.
5.4. Refund eligibility remains subject to the applicable event, attraction and Platinumlist refund terms.
6. Validity and Expiry
6.1. Gift Card value is valid for twelve (12) months from the scheduled delivery date selected by the purchaser, regardless of when the recipient creates a Platinumlist account or claims the Gift Card.
6.2. The applicable Gift Card expiry date will be communicated to the recipient through the email address provided by the purchaser and may also be displayed in the recipient's Platinumlist account once created.
6.3. Platinumlist will send the recipient an expiry reminder three (3) days before the expiry date.
6.4. If any Gift Card value remains unused at the end of the 12-month validity period, the recipient will have an additional thirty (30) day grace period to use the remaining Gift Card value.
6.5. The grace period does not extend or renew the original validity period. No further extension or reactivation will be available after the 30-day grace period.
6.6. At the end of the grace period, any remaining unused Gift Card value will permanently expire and will no longer be available for use or redemption.
6.7. Expired Gift Card value is non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or credited to a bank account, payment card or other payment method, except where required by applicable law.
7. Fraud, Misuse and Chargebacks
7.1. Gift Cards must not be purchased or used for fraudulent, unlawful or unauthorized purposes.
7.2. Platinumlist may suspend, freeze or cancel an unused Gift Card or Gift Card balance where it reasonably suspects fraud, unauthorized payment, misuse or a chargeback relating to the original purchase.
7.3. Platinumlist may request reasonable information or verification from the purchaser or recipient before allowing a Gift Card to be claimed or used where necessary for fraud prevention, security or compliance purposes.
7.4. Platinumlist may restrict or cancel transactions that reasonably appear to circumvent Gift Card limits or other applicable security controls.
8. Incorrect Recipient Details and Account Security
8.1. The purchaser is responsible for providing the correct recipient details when purchasing a Gift Card.
8.2. Platinumlist will not be responsible for a Gift Card being delivered or credited to the wrong person where this results from incorrect information provided by the purchaser, subject to applicable law.
8.3. Customers are responsible for maintaining the security of their Platinumlist accounts. Any suspected unauthorized access or use should be reported to Platinumlist as soon as reasonably possible.
9. Purchase and Usage Limits
9.1. Platinumlist may apply reasonable limits to the value, number or frequency of Gift Cards that may be purchased, received or used for security, fraud-prevention or compliance purposes.
9.2. The applicable minimum and maximum Gift Card values will be displayed before purchase.
9.3. Platinumlist may refuse or temporarily restrict a Gift Card transaction where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud, misuse or unauthorized activity.
10. Changes to the Gift Card Service
Platinumlist may make reasonable changes to the Gift Card service or these Gift Card Terms where necessary for legal, regulatory, security, technical or operational reasons. Any change that materially affects an existing Gift Card balance will be communicated where required by applicable law.
11. Relationship with Other Platinumlist Terms
These Gift Card Terms apply specifically to Gift Cards. Platinumlist’s general Terms and Conditions, Wallet Terms and applicable event or attraction terms will continue to apply where relevant.
If there is a conflict concerning the purchase, validity or use of a Gift Card, these Gift Card Terms will apply to the extent of that conflict, subject always to applicable law.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Gift Card Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus
Any dispute arising from or relating to the Gift Card will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Cyprus, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

5. Refunds

6. Validity and Expiry
